Here it is — trailer #1 for our upcoming documentary, UNCONVENTIONAL: The TimeGate / WHOlanta Story! The teaser trailer that we released two weeks ago (on the day of the con’s 20th Anniversary) featured mostly previously unseen archival footage. This trailer highlights newly-shot material and will give you an insight into the story that the documentary will be telling.

20 years ago tonight, Doctor Who made its return to British Televisions, and the  TimeGate convention  held its first-ever event. To celebrate that dual anniversary, here is the teaser trailer for our upcoming documentary, UNCONVENTIONAL: The TimeGate / WHOlanta Story!

We’re very excited to announce that in ONE WEEK — on March 26, 2025, the DAY of our convention’s 20th Anniversary — we will be releasing the first teaser trailer for our new documentary, UNCONVENTIONAL: The TimeGate / WHOlanta Story! We realize that there hasn’t been much in the way of public updates recently, but we’ve been VERY BUSY behind the scenes filming content, combing through archival footage, and storyboarding the final film. We still have a few more key interviews to shoot, and that will be done in the next few weeks. We’ve made a lot of progress on this project and we’re very excited to debut it later this year. And in ONE WEEK you’ll get your first taste of what we’ve been working on!

May 2021 marks the 25th Anniversary of the 1996 Doctor Who television starring Paul McGann, Eric Roberts, Daphne Ashbrook and Yee Jee Tso. We wanted to do something special for WHOlanta: Virtual TARDIS 2021 to pay tribute to this important chapter in Doctor Who history. We’re very pleased to announce that YEE JEE TSO will be joining us for a special Q&A talking about his experiences shooting the film and about the new edition of this book, Time and Spaces: A Photo Journal of Doctor Who Filming.
