Announcing: UNCONVENTIONAL: The TimeGate / WHOlanta Story – a new documentary film coming in 2025.
Way back on March 26, 2005, Susan Rey and R. Alan Siler started a convention called TimeGate. Ten years later, that con morphed into a new entity called WHOlanta. Two different names, but the core of the event remained the same. To celebrate the con’s 20th anniversary, we are proud to announce the upcoming documentary about the history and legacy of that convention, UNCONVENTIONAL: The TimeGate / WHOlanta Story. The film will feature brand new interviews with con-runners, volunteers and guests as well as archival footage and photos never before seen by the public.
To help make this venture possible, we’re asking for a little assistance from our fans and friends. We’re launching a crowdfunding campaign through Indiegogo to help us raise the funds needed to bring this film to our longtime audience and give new audiences the chance to get to experience our convention for the first time.
